Thank you so much for chatting with us about this editorial Alexandra! Our first question is how does this collection make you feel?
It's my pleasure! When looking at the samples, I immediately felt at ease and wanted to wear them myself! It’s the softness of the material as well as the comfortable fit that appeal to me, and Jenn’s (Designer and brand strategist at Raquette) words come to my mind: "If the kids feel at ease, they will look cool no matter what."
I imagine this would apply to me too! :)

We couldn't agree more, these pieces look so cool and comfortable! What was your inspiration for this photo shoot?
One of Raquette's main inspirations is skate and street culture. I wanted to celebrate that by giving it an urban feel, edginess, and color. This led me to choose one of the cool, graffiti-clad, neighborhoods of Hamburg as our location. My other inspiration was Ida, a kid model I admire. She has such a fun, confident vibe that she was my number one choice and I knew she would bring something extra to our story. And boy, I was right on that one!

Ida really did bring this shoot to life! What made you want to do a photo shoot and interview with the brand Raquette?
Ever since noticing the brand for the first time, I have liked its aesthetics as well as their philosophy, and one sentence sums it up for me quite well: "For us, sustainability is more than just materials: it is about respect for people, for our environment, and about living a bit more slowly and more thoughtful."
