From the drawing board to your nursery, all bedding is meticulously hand-crafted in India. The art of every baby quilt takes 7 days to stamp and stitch. The element of human touch means each piece is always unique!

This brand is redefining luxury for little ones! Hand-made baby bedding, organic muslin swaddles, ultra-soft crib sheets and unique baby gift sets. 

Founder, Anjali Harjani's search for beautiful and all-natural baby linens began in 2014 when she moved from New York City to Hong Kong and became pregnant. The thought behind the company was simple: good bedding was fundamental to a proper night’s sleep, and so it became a top priority when prepping for the arrival of her son. Anjali spent over a year hunting for the best source materials and manufacturing sites across India and China.

Harjani searched high and low for bedding, organic swaddles and accessories that were well-made of high-quality materials, while looking stylish and unique. Unfortunately, nothing she liked was accessible or affordable so she decided to quit her 10-year stint in the corporate world to begin a journey that ultimately lead to the birth of Malabar Baby.

Being based in Asia came with many advantages, and gave Harjani easy access to talented designers and flourishing production hubs. With her passion ignited, she called on her family’s decades-long history of manufacturing in China and India to create a line of her own. 

Malabar Baby is the result of years of exploration, collaboration, and discovery and was inspired by the area in southern Mumbai (Malabar Hill) where the founder, Anjali Harjani's family currently resides. Malabar Baby has a global team of designers that reside around the world and offices in HK, India and the Philippines.
