From Babies with Love: when charity becomes a brand

From Babies with Love is the baby brand that donates 100% of its profits to orphaned and abandoned children around the world.

When founder Cecilia Crossley became a parent, her concern for the welfare of children everywhere deepened, and she realised that parents everywhere experience the same emotions – “You never watch a children’s charity advert with the same eyes ever again.", she explained. "I was out shopping when I thought to myself, what if I could buy beautiful baby products and help children in need at the same time? That would speak to the emotions I experienced and make me feel great." And so From Babies with Love was born!

"We are a registered charity, but do not look or behave as a traditional charity – rather we are a brand. We design contemporary, ethically sourced baby products and give all the profit to the children – we think of them as our shareholders. Our model is pioneering in the children’s sector and we recently won at the UK Social Enterprise Awards; we were honored."

So far From Babies with Love supports 2,060 children in over 35 countries around the world. We support children to grow up in loving family homes in dedicated children’s villages and the village nursery schools so that all the toddlers have access to early years education.

Their collection includes baby clothes for 0-24 months, nursery accessories and soft and wooden toys. Their logo is a postmark to represent sending: customers send beautiful products to a little one they care about, and send help to a child in need at the same time. A win-win, because a baby is a baby, no matter where they are born!
