Maternity trend 'Luxe, calme et volupté' by Instinct*
Spring-summer 2019 invites us on a journey: pregnancy as a time for an inner voyage where one gives into the simple joy of cultivating one’s own secret garden. A time too for day dreams, which take us to exotic lands, or out of time, as a metaphorical side-step away from our modern lives.

Borrowed from Baudelaire, this theme beckons us to spend some quality time with ourselves, in a setting designed to rest eyes and spirit. A suspended moment in time, it is well-suited to journeys of the soul. Silhouettes are pure, tidy but mobile, punctuated with scales that shimmer discretely.
Silks and smooth cottons are animated with pleats, asymmetries, elegant undulations, twists which fall in a studied manner, revealing the body through poetry.
The metal accents, caught by the light, offer a counterpoint to the matt appearance of the surfaces.
The color range, with its pearly sea-shell shades, gives a deceptive appearance of matching shades. It is illuminated by a yellow, majestically revealed by the density of its black.
