Get Street Ready With nununu

You don’t need to carefully develop your street cred. nununu’s new collection will automatically do it for you

Have you looked at your child and wondered if they have artistic capabilities beyond your understanding? Do you wish to take them on journeys and trips to bring a spark to their already unbound creativity? You don’t need to visit an art museum for inspiration anymore because this season, nununu is bringing art to you!

The FW2020 collection of nununu finds its inspiration at the free art exhibited right around every corner. If you’ve heard of Banksy, you know that most cities are filled with graffiti. The wide variety of these globally spray painted arts have prompted their winter collection.

In the Control Freak and Limited Edition collection, nununu collaborates with artist Shay Id Alony who previously created a graffiti wall in the brands’ showroom. Thanks to the huge success of the wall, this season’s main prints find their origin in it.

The introduction of eye-catching colours of lava yellow and red bring extra credibility to the street vibe. The use of typography, new black and white stripes, and traces of hot pink make the collection authentically urban. The pieces also feature high quality French terry and fine ribbed cotton. The tracksuits are made of an improved woven material featuring spray painted symbols and typography patches.

This collection’s highlight piece, without a doubt, would be the all-new opaque rain jacket. Made with a brand new poly mix, the opaque piece ensures that the rain will no longer mean boring clothes. Another great addition is a velvet down-jacket for extra warmth and extra style on those cold, grey days.

The second collaboration with Tutu du Monde adds a romantic flair to the otherwise rough streets. Made up of dresses, skirts, cardigans, skull headbands, sequin leg warmers, and a cape, this collection addresses a whole new demographic of kids making certain that they get the best of both worlds.

The two collections are available for ages up to 14, along with special onesies and bodysuits for newborns. nununu also brings forth a series of backpacks and snack boxes, and slippers and loungewear.

Now that you know street art is not just street art, are you ready to walk in the steps of Banksy?
