Little Hedonist’s Flight to a More Sustainable Future

The Dutch kidswear brand levels up with a sustainable textile certification. These basics for your kids just got better!

While this New Year is still full of promises and hopes of renewing our lives, the Netherlands based brand is already winning with their new collection that comes with more than just fresh clothing ideas. Introducing the Re-Invented Collection, Little Hedonist is ready to begin the year on a more sustainable note.

While staying loyal to the roots and the DNA, Little Hedonist has paved a way through a collection made up of STeP certified textiles. Standing for Sustainable Textile & Leather Production, STeP by OEKO-TEX® is a certification for textile and leather production. It not only focuses on eco-friendly production processes but also promotes socially responsible working conditions. With six different areas being examined under this certification, you can be sure that the clothes you wear harm neither the environment nor the workers producing them.

"The past months have been all about Re-Inventing. Re-inventing ourselves as individuals, as a team, as a fashion label and in our clothing. With dedication we worked on the use of recycled fabrics which match our DNA perfectly; the less waste the better. With our own and your children in mind we grew in sustainability, because our children are the future."
- Judith Van Venrooij, founder

The Re-Invented Collection lies closer to their Basic Couture vision with newer styles and better fabrics. Along with organic cotton jerseys and recycled fabrics, this collection also introduces knitwear. The collection brings attention not only to our children’s present but also to a future that is sustainable and socially responsible. With a balanced mix of bright and sober tones of night blue, rattan yellow, tango red, caramel brown, beige and green moss, Little Hedonist narrates a story we’d all love to hear.

P.S. Little Hedonist has stopped shipping their garments in plastic polybags to retail stores to ensure minimum waste.
